The cotton cloth is used to line the molds during the cheese making process. Its texture promotes the process of curd drain, facilitates the pouring of whey and avoids the clogging of the mold holes.
Additionally, the natural properties of cotton favor the ripening and preservation of cheese.
We have two types of cheesecloths: one the one hand, traditional reusable and biodegradable raw 100% cotton cloths; on the other hand, a new product, the single use gauze, which is 100% biodegradable cotton and has undergone a process of bleaching and cleaning of cotton.
